Talklines/Warmlines (Transgender Individuals)

The hotline is primarily for transgender people experiencing a crisis, including suicide and self-harm. Services include a hotline for transgender individuals to speak to trans peers about their feelings and concerns, including individuals who are unsure if they are transgender, and name/gender identity modification assistance. There are no geographic restrictions.
The agency also provides a database of national information about name change and gender marker changes on official county, state and federal ID cards.
Peer counselors are all trans identified individuals with a variety of experiences. The agency website has information on operators and provides a schedule of the operators on call at any given time. Individuals are encouraged to call at any time.
