Nutrition Education
Provider: SOUTH CENTRAL FAMILY HEALTH CENTER - WELLNESS CENTER AT JEFFERSON HIGH SCHOOL
The program provides health education for people of all ages who live in Los Angeles County. Services include disease/disability information, family literacy programs, nutrition education, and parenting education. There are no geographic restrictions.
Disease/disability information is available on asthma, cholesteremia, diabetes and hypertension. Additional classess and programs are available such as parenting classes and classes and materials about chronic illness management, high blood pressure, family planning, and domestic violence.

Call or walk in to apply for services. An appointment is preferred. Proof of income is required.
Fees
There are fixed fees; Medi-Cal and other private insurance are accepted. An ability-to-pay plan is also available.
