Library Services (Visual Impairments)

Provider: SANTA MONICA PUBLIC LIBRARY - MONTANA AVENUE BRANCH

  The library provides standard library services including book, DVD and compact disc loan, telephone reference, email reference, microfilm and microfiche reader/printers. Services are provided at five locations. There are no geographic restrictions. 

  The library also offers a special program for Santa Monica residents who are unable to leave their homes due to illness, disability or age. Library volunteers deliver requested materials or will select a range of materials for the borrower, if requested. 

  Non- residents are required to pay an annual fee for library cards.

Application Procedure
Call or visit the library for services. There is a TDD in the reference department which hearing impaired people may call for reference assistance. Fees
There are fixed fees for services; youth cards for ages 0 to 18 are fine free. For individuals without Santa Monica Library cards, computer access is $2 per hour.
