Occasional Emergency Food Assistance (Older Adults, Asian Community)

Provider: LOS ANGELES COUNTY AGING AND DISABILITIES DEPARTMENT - ASIAN COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER

  The program provides emergency food for low-income individuals who live in Los Angeles County. Services include government surplus food distribution sites, occasional emergency food assistance and ongoing emergency food assistance. Services are targeted, but not restricted to residents in the area of Gardena and the Asian/Pacific Islander community. There are no geographic restrictions.

  People may be assisted one time per month. Assistance can be provided to people from outside the Gardena area, but on a one-time only basis. Information and referral is available thereafter.
