Specialized Information and Referral (Older Adult/Aging Issues)

The city provides services for older adults, age 62 and over, who live in the City of Lomita. Services include home rehabilitation/repair grants and services and specialized information and referral services. Age and geographic restrictions apply.
Home rehabilitation/repair grants and services are provided for low-income residents, age 62 and older, to assist older adults to maintain their property. To be eligible, the resident must own their own home, live within the city limits, and meet the low-income guidelines. The city also provides information and referral to senior citizens through a directory of resources that is available on request from the Housing and Community Services Department.
