Youth Enrichment Programs

The agency provides community services for people who live in Altadena and the Los Angeles County area. Services include civic groups, community facilities, museums, mutipurpose facilities/centers and specialized information and referral to community agencies. There are no geographic restrictions.

The Center serves as a community meeting place and a town hall. It also houses the Altadena Town Council, Altadena Chamber of Commerce, Altadena NAACP, Sheriff's Support Group of Altadena, Altadena Historical Society, and Altadena Heritage. The Town Council has no telephone, but comments and concerns may be left at their website at www.altadenatowncouncil.org.

The Altadena Historical Society museum has historical material including photographs, maps, oral histories, newspapers, books, letters and artifacts. Also an extensive collection on Altadena residents and topics pertaining to Altadena's community history.

Specialized information and referral is provided to community service agencies for individuals of Altadena and surrounding communities.

The community room can be reserved for meetings, trainings and special events at no charge for non-profit organizations.
