The agency provides welfare-to-work support services for battered women who receive or are eligible to receive CalWORKs and live in Los Angeles County. Services include case/care management, child custody/visitation assistance, child support assistance/enforcement, crime victim accompaniment services, certificates/forms assistance, crime victim support, divorce assistance, emancipation of minors, eviction prevention assistance, individual advocacy, landlord/tenant dispute resolution, legal counseling, spouse/domestic partner abuse counseling, and welfare rights assistance.
Transportation (van pick-up, taxi vouchers and bus fare) and child care are provided.
