Aquatic Therapy (Arthritis)

The program provides a wide variety of recreational, fitness and summer camping activities for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. There are no geographic restrictions.
Year-round aquatics programs are available for people of different age and skill levels and include swimming classes, the "twinges in the hinges" program for people who have arthritis; recreational swims, skin diving and scuba. The pool has been adapted for people who have physical disabilities. The physical education program includes movement classes for infants and toddlers; gymnastics classes for children; fitness classes and activities for people age 15 and older; aerobics; pre-natal and post-partum exercise classes; sports including basketball, volleyball and handball; and jujitsu classes.
The agency also offers summer day, resident and trip camping programs for children of elementary through high school ages; a weekend family camp; and an opportunity for youth to train as camp counselors. A week-long residential camp is available in the summer.
