Case management services are available through the Supportive Services Program (SSP). A case manager visits the home, assesses and arranges for the needed services, and monitors their delivery. The service area for case management includes Bassett, El Monte, Rosemead, South El Monte, South San Gabriel, and Temple City.
Periodic workshops are provided which focus on health issues and other subjects of interest to seniors. Adult education classes are open to people age 18 and older.
The center also acts as a cooling center for people who do not have air conditioning. Cooling centers have air conditioning and provide relief from high temperatures during the summer months.
The Traditional Legal Assistance Program (TLAP) provides legal assistance including general counseling, benefits assistance, certificates/forms assistance, naturalization assistance, and tax information provided by visiting attorneys from Bet Tzedek every other month.
