Welfare Rights Assistance

Provider: CITY OF EL MONTE COMMUNITY AND SENIOR SERVICES - JACK CRIPPEN MULTIPURPOSE SENIOR CENTER

The center provides advocacy for adults age 60 and older who live in the greater El Monte area. Services include case/care management, Medicare counseling, veterans rights advocacy, and benefits advocacy. Age restrictions apply; most services are restricted to residents of Bassett, El Monte, Rosemead, South El Monte, South San Gabriel and Temple City.

Advocacy is provided to help people obtain benefits or services to which they are entitled, including Medicare, Social Security and veterans benefits.
