Special Needs Job Development

The agency provides technical assistance for businesses, government entities, and nonprofit agencies in Los Angeles County. Services include business assistance services, displaced worker employment programs, organizational training programs, and special needs job development. There are no geographic restrictions.

Business assistance services target individual who have started new businesses to ensure their success. Services are categorized into three segments: Government Project Management; Support Staffing Services (direct and/or temp-to-perm placement); and Staff and Management Development.

Displaced worker employment programs assist individuals who have lost their employment due to changing economical or societal needs and assists them in finding new employment.

Organizational training programs are customized to meet business needs and may focus on areas including workplace ethics, effective communication, skills and conflict resolution, anger management, stress management, and sexual harassment.

Special needs job development assists individuals with disabilities in finding employment opportunities. This program targets those individuals who are currently receiving Social Security or disability assistance and wish instead to return to employment.
