The agency administers human service programs for people in Los Angeles County. Services include administrative entities for programs such as family supportive services, immigration services, life problems counseling, multipurpose centers, and services for older adults. The office administers service centers in the Metropolitan, Southern, West Los Angeles, and San Fernando Valley regions of the county which also provide counseling and family supportive services; and also administers the Freda Mohr Multiservice Center, the Valley Storefront for older adults, the West Hollywood Senior Center, the Pico Robertson Storefront and numerous supportive programs for seniors.
