Domestic Violence Shelters

The agency provides shelter services for battered women and their children. Services include domestic violence shelters. There are no geographic restrictions.
The shelter can accommodate female and male children up to 18 years old with their mothers.
The maximum length of stay is 45 days. The shelter can accommodate women who use wheelchairs; cannot accommodate women who abuse alcohol or drugs or who have a severe mental or emotional disturbance.
Supportive services include group and individual counseling, and child care as needed. Residents are expected to assist with daily chores and to observe shelter curfews and rules which prohibit the use of alcohol and drugs and the physical punishment of children.
