The agency provides licensing services for mobilehome dealers and salespersons in California. The Registration and Titling Program provides registration and title documents for new or resold manufactured homes, commercial modular(s), mobilehomes, floating homes and truck campers. Services include occupational/professional licensing and certification, and title registration/titles. There are no geographic restrictions.

The program also renews annual registrations, and can answer occupational licensing inquiries and general business information about a manufactured home or commercial modular manufacturer, dealer, or salesperson.

Services are available online and at the Los Angeles County regional office in Winnetka. A credit card is required for the online service. The department also sponsors a mobile unit to renew registrations at mobilehome parks throughout the state. Mobilehome registration is no longer done through the DMV; mobilehome registration is equivalent to Manufactured Home registration and titling.
