Multicultural Education

The agency provides education services for residents of the Koreatown area in Los Angeles. Services include multicultural education and oral history programs. Geographic restrictions apply.

The Koreatown Storytelling Program (KSP) is a project of the Koreatown Youth and Community Center (KYCC). This intergenerational, multilingual and multiethnic program works with high school journalists and neighborhood elders in Los Angeles%u2019s Koreatown to provide in-depth workshops on oral history, journalism and photojournalism, community history, interview skills and technology how-tos, and dialogue around cultural traditions, immigration and civil rights. A variety of events to engage the community are hosted by the program.
