Moving Expense Assistance (AIDS/HIV)

The program provides housing services to persons living with HIV/AIDS, their families, and HIV/AIDS service providers. Services include housing search assistance, moving expense assistance, and rent payment assistance, There are no geographic restrictions.
Specific programs include Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA).
The HOPWA program provides financial assistance for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families. Assistance is available in the form of move-in grants. Move-in grants can be used to pay security deposits and other moving costs.
