Provider: CITY OF LOS ANGELES DEPARTMENT ON DISABILITY
The department provides guidance and resources related to services for people with disabilities across City of Los Angeles programs and activities. There are no geographic restrictions.
Services include accessibility related standards/legislation compliance, ADA implementation assistance, disability access information and referral, and durable medical equipment/supplies. The department coordinates auxiliary aids and services for city-related meetings, public hearings, programs and special events. These may include sign language interpreters, CART captioning, documents in accessible formats, and other communication supports needed to ensure effective communication.
The Department also accepts ADA complaints and grievances related to access to City of Los Angeles programs, services, activities, facilities, and communications.
Language access services may be available upon request.

Call or submit disability-related accommodations online through the MyLA311 Disability Accommodation Form. Requests should be submitted at least five business days in advance, when possible.
There are no fees for services.
