The agency provides services for older adults in the southeast Los Angeles area. Services include adult day care for frail older adults, including those with Alzheimer's Disease;caregiver support groups; case/care management for older adults; case/care management for caregivers; congregate meals; an in-home assistance registry; respite care for caretakers of older adults with Alzheimer's Disease; and specialized information and referral and other resources for caregivers. Services are restricted to Bell, Bellflower, Bell Gardens, Commerce, Cerritos, Cudahy, Downey, Huntington Park, Lynwood, Maywood, Paramount, and South Gate.

The Caregiver Support Program provides on-site and in-home support services for informal, formal, paid or non-paid caregivers of an older adult, age 60 or over. The program provides a case/care manager to assess the needs of the caregiver as well as those of the patient. The program may also include participation in English or Spanish, language mutual support groups for caregivers; use of a resource library at the Bell Gardens administrative location; or referral to other respite programs or support groups as needed.

Multipurpose Senior Services Program (MSSP) provides comprehensive case/care management for frail elderly who want to remain in the community. To be eligible you must be age 65 and older, are eligible for Medi-Cal, and certified or certifiable for placement in a nursing facility. The program arranges for and monitors the use of community services to prevent or delay premature institutionalization of the frail elderly. Services are restricted to Artesia, Bell, Bell Gardens, Bellflower, Cerritos, Commerce, Cudahy, Downey, Huntington Park, Lynwood, Maywood, Norwalk, Paramount, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, South Gate and Whittier.

The Supportive Services Program (SSP) and Linkages program provide case management services for older adults age 60 and older and persons with disabilities to allow them to stay in their homes as long as appropriately possible and prevent premature or inappropriate institutionalization.
