Residential Energy/Water Conservation Rebates
Provider: SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY
The company provides information and assistance related to Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) events in Los Angeles County. Services include energy information services, electric service providers for low income individuals who are experiencing a power outage, residential energy/water conservation rebates and residential energy/water conservation systems/devices for low income households. There are no geographic restrictions; however, some services are targeted to residents who live in areas designated as high fire-risk by Southern California Edison (SCE).
When there is a high risk for a wildfire, SCE may temporarily shut off power to certain neighborhoods to prevent the electric system from becoming the source of ignition.
